new podcast coming soon

ladies and gentleman... a new podcast is currently in the editing stage. hopefully you enjoyed that last one, although i got minimal response on it. i know people listened though, and i hope you enjoyed it. to get to the podcast page click here.
just a few comments in general. it has been a couple very sad weeks for me recently. my very favorite comedian mitch hedberg passed away. also, bryan ottoson of american head charge (a great minnesota metal band) also left us prematurely. keep their families and friends in your prayers.
get outside and enjoy the warmer weather. to those who deserve it, have a great summer

reflections on spring

its a great time to be alive in minnesota! the sun is out and it is getting warm outside... school is nearly over... but most importantly, baseball season has begun! the twins have opened 2-1 and have got me utterly excited about the season to come. not to mention that we get about 8 channels here, but three of them have baseball on them (UPN, TBS, WGN). i can't wait to watch the cubs after work everyday!
spring break was great, except for two days of rain. you can't beat a weak of drinking, no work, and tons of ladies... it doesn't get better than that! what a great lead in to summer.
i don't know what to write, i have a block. if you are from luverne and you read this, make sure if you have a chance to support dale nelson. he could be getting screwed over, and don't let that happen. we sent a letter to mr. fisher and mr. schaefer today (4.6.05), hopefully they take our words into consideration.
enjoy the lovely weather and drop me a line... schmidti@augsburg.edu
