What do you know, I was right!?
its amazing how a guy with no degree in medicine (or in education, yet, for that matter) can tell when a guy has been on steroids. looking at the pictures of barry bonds, its pretty tough to imagine that he hadn't gained "natural" results. what about jason giambi? if only his brother had followed in his footsteps, he might have a career too. and speaking of that bastard, we all felt sorry for him last year because of his basically season-ending ailments. wow... we thought he might be dying from a rare stomach disease. i guess that wasn't entirely incorrect since he was dying of a ailment that wouldn't normally occur - so i guess it was pretty rare. next time maybe he won't be dumb enough to inject into his stomach.
how about david boston? who could possibly have thought that he was all-natural? he gained about 40 pounds in one offseason!!! a receiver will never weigh that much and still have speed unless he's been retired for 10 years and has been on a steady diet of guiness... and even then, he wouldn't look like colossus like boston and would probably run a 5.7. i don't know who these guys were kidding and why the leagues weren't all over these lying cheaters.
back to bonds... "i didn't know i was being given steroids" (a paraphrase of his own actual words). that's amazing due to your doubling in size and strength. your trainer gives you something to use and your results are immediate... sounds pretty scientific and more importantly illegal. major league baseball has said that there may not be any suspensions or punishments imposed on these players. that's all fine and dandy i guess because according to United States law, these guys should be in prison for many years to come. and if the government does nothing to these guys, then it is obvious that the rumor has been proven true... we are not democratic, just capitalistic.
my main point for this rant is that these guys need to be put away for a long time. i don't care if bonds says he didn't know or if giambi has suffered enough with his health problems (fake tear), these guys cheated and most importantly broke the law. bonds' records need an asterisk or should be thrown out completely. giambi needs to be put in prison. david boston and the people who stood beside him doing nothing need to be given an IQ test. oh and matt lecroy, ask him for a steroid test again, he'll just answer by lifting up his shirt (enough said)!
